I am a Ruby on Rails and React developer with a passion for helping people solve their problems.

I kicked off my career as a full-stack developer by completing an intensive, self-directed, technical program focused on the foundations and practical application of modern web development and computer software.

Before diving into the tech industry my professional focus was on the research and application of social science. At University College Dublin (Ireland) I earned a M.S. examining the interdisciplinary nature (sociology, political philosophy, economics, human rights law, religion) of social problems, and I later pursued the art of helping relationships and counseling psychology at Appalachian State University's Graduate School.

At heart I'm a lifelong learner and problem solver who loves a good challenge!
